This frame, complemented by a new shock concept and the most sophisticated use of carbon in the brand's history, sets new standards in torsional and bottom bracket stiffness.

Revolutionary Suspension Technology

The Specialized Epic WC Pro features revolutionary shock technology developed by Specialized Ride Dynamics in collaboration with RockShox. The SID Deluxe WCID shock uses independently adjustable positive and negative air chambers to provide the efficiency of a rigid bike and the capability of dual suspension, all with a simple setup. You can adjust it across the spectrum between firm and soft depending on your preference and the terrain.

75 mm Effective Stroke

Despite its 75 mm of rear travel, the Epic WC Pro offers the control and capability of a bike with more travel. The Specialized Ride Dynamics team has optimized the air chamber's stiffness to absorb large impacts without compromising pedaling efficiency, thanks to the Mega Jounce Bumper, an industry first.

Intelligent Brain System

While the new shock provides suspension in the rear, the Brain system continues in the fork. Its Position-Sensitive technology differentiates terrain and rider forces to provide maximum pedaling efficiency without the need for remote lockout.
